In norway ass. means assorted. So its probably from norway or another country that uses the ass. thing. It is not engrish at all after my opinion. it is rather “nosk”
ass. means assorted in the US too… just its not used as much… for obvious reasons.
It also means that in the UK as well, but only used when there’s not enough room to type “Assorted”, such as on a receipt.

Yes. “Ass.” is an accepted abbreviation of the word “assorted”. I see it plenty on sale items at many major stores.
Perhaps they could have used “var”, as in “pudding varieties”, but there is nothing wrong with what they did either.
They could have just put “pudding”…since I think it would have become apparent that there was more than one kind.

They are, and always have been, called Frosted Flakes here in the US. Made in Battle Creek Michigan, my home state WooHoo! Why are they called Frosties or there? The only “Frostie” I know of here is a chocolate shake from Wendy’s fast food chain.
