Remain clam. I am a licensed Asian-American who has spend 14-years lived all over Asia. Please. Just enjoy.

There are no words…
Not at all; there are plenty of words there, it’s just that they make absolutely no sense whatsoever.
Yeah, no kind of deductive logic is gonna help you figure that one out. Although the walk of the horse gear does sound intriguing…
We will have to ask the Direction.
She will know.
This was my frist first, and I get the hardest thing to comment on
oh, what to do first…
go after “the hardest thing to comment on” or say something like “bend over and I’ll show you the march of the horse gear.”
Or that my horse gear is the hardest thing to comment on…
Oh, the possibilities are endless…
Thank You
The Direction
Brillian sir. I tip my hat to you.
UH! stoopid! that would be BRIDAL MARCH
it’s telling the gaijin to sit down and shut up during the wedding
If my bride heard you call her “horse gear” you wouldn’t be able to sit down for a week.
horse gear= bridle (tack, gear, whatever. bits, reins etc)=bridal (as in bride; white veil, roses etc)
interdict made me thing of indecent, but i googled it. it’s roman catholic term. how bout that? they like brides too. Interdict (Roman Catholic Church), an ecclesiastical penalty which (temporarily) bars a specific person or group of people from receiving the sacraments. but I’m pretty sure it’s used here as a general threat
so…..
don’t move suring the bridal procession or thou shall be punished. severely.
Interdict looks to me like a misspelling of the French “interdit” meaning forbidden.
This is directly related to the image titled “Top Hat: $35 Gloves: $42″ on roflrazzi. I would say the signage was probably made by Louis Vuitton.
uhmmmmmmm…..
……….????
owwwwwwwwwww……
i think a pulled a brain muscle trying to figure this one out.
any body got a tylenol? or something?
owwwie
Iz back of carriage? Maybez you no walk when carriage is beingz pulled by horsies?
If the Direction is directing me, who took time to write the sign?
I’ve got horse gear..in my pants!!
Your icon really does not match your name
You have just made my day. XD
Harry should have your icon.
A lot of us have that problem.
SO DOES YOUR MOM!
Ohh, you just got SERRVEDD! ^_^
dont move while the horses+equipment are moving?! just a guess.. only semi logical phrase i could think of
This is what happens when you print out and post your Scrabble results.. >.< Still turning this one over in my head…..
“This doesn’t go with/isn’t part of the [Horse-Gear] move. Thank you, The Management.”
…I wonder if “Horse-Gear” is specific? Maybe an equestrian event? Or an estate sale? Makes total sense if equestrian gear is being sold off/auctioned. “This is not part of the riding tack lot.”
Think I’ve got it – it’s a merry-go-round?
“Do not move while the merry-go-round is in motion. -The Management.”
Doh! You beat me to it! It looks like a carousel/merry-go-round. So they are staying “Stay on your horses/dragons/birds/whatevers while in motion.”
I’ve been on a merry-go-round with penguins on it!
And Hans wins the prize! lol Good call!
It’s a knack of mine. As long as I’m not having to translate kanji, I’m pretty good at working these things out, most times…context clues for the win. If you look in the reflection in the paint behind the -fake- mirror…you can see a wide central pillar…only place I know they put wistful fake mirrors is on kid’s playground stuff…Laureli’s guess drove it home.
Give credit where credit is due. I think that prize goes to Laureril. We can all figure out what the sign means now, but she made the crucial connection to the merry-go-round.
Oh, certainly, Laureli was on the right track first, no doubt.
Wait, Laureril…where the hell am I getting Laureli from? Too much Gilmore Girls. *braingun*
This is obviously written by French people who can’t speak
English. “Interdict”-> (French)Interdit=Forbidden
“The Direction”->The staff (La Diréction)
The rest has me as stumped as you are.
The carousel idea would make sense though.
Probably don’t want kids to move while the
Carousel is turning. Or the horse gear is
walking. whatever floats your boat.
Let’s translate word-by-word in french.
“Il est interdit de bouger durant la marche (de la / du) …”
cheval-pignon? cheval-engin? cheval-engrenage? cheval-équipement? WTF? There’s not many words that translate into “gear” in french and none of them make sense whatsoever! O_o
Might some kind of carriage (“voiture à cheval”), or like you said a carousel. I really wonder what crappy automatic translator they used for this.
They obviously used the Translator shown in the next Engrish Posting.
Maybe “marche de l’equipe des chevaux (horse team)? That would be an awkward way to word it in French, though…
It is a carousel. My friend took this picture in Nice, France.
that was the most confusing one I’ve ever seen…. My mind… It boggles.
Oh crap! I’ve been moving this whole time!
The best part is the clarity warning be posted on Snow White’s stepmom’s mirror…
This picture forces me to say.
wat?
