You can always tell authenticity when you see it!

  2. JohnB says:

Sounds to me rather like a Hebrew blessing. And a Calvim Klain to you, too!

  3. mikaeli says:

its not so much an error in translation, more of a piracy, such copies are rampant in china, example of which would be a rip off of dunhill, named danhill.. but still owrth a few laughs i guess..

    • JohnB says:

That’s what I figured, and really that’s nothing new, although the pirates are more prolific than ever. When I was young, and “Tasco” was a well-respected name in optics, I saw a microscope that was made by “Tasoo.” If you didn’t look closely, you could be fooled.

      I’ve seen adidass

No Socks or Odor Eaters! Nothing comes between me and my Calvim Klain’s.

I wonder if they stock Opcesshun perfume.

  6. derailer says:

Right next to the Tomi Herrfiga. Try to avoind Rarf Raren, he shat his pants.

    • JohnB says:

Was it fish he shat? That would be a mite uncomfortable, fish wriggling around in one’s pants!

    • PoodleGroomer says:

They were blasting everyone with his new cologne before he died of AIDS. We all had to go in and get HIV testing.

  10. buckinarut says:

How can you forget Scaro ed al Atner? Sounds like a mullah from Mynee, don’t it?

  11. buckinarut says:

    And Borks Bothers?

  12. JohnB says:

My father once told me that in the years right after WWII, when products from Japan were widely regarded as being of poor quality, there was a city named “Usa” that suddenly became a manufacturing center, because they could stamp in all caps, “MADE IN USA.” I’ve never seen any mention of this anywhere, so take it as just an anecdote, but my dad was not prone to making up stories.

    • dr handle says:

That was mentioned in a book called “When I Whistle” by Shusaku Endo, which I had to read at high school 24 years ago now. For some reason I still remember that.

      • JohnB says:

Finally, Dad’s story confirmed! I don’t really know why I remember the story, since it must be close to 50 years since I heard it, and it wasn’t one of the ones he retold and retold (there were plenty of those, believe me!). He never did talk much of the war, though, even though he saw plenty of action, including D-Day. (He’s still alive, but his mental faculties are fading.)

  13. CK Employee says:

    Colleagues are gonna ruff dis!!

  14. NegroSaki says:

  15. Saphiyah says:

Only in china you will see bootlegged “Calvim kleins”!

  16. OP says:

These are rip-offs of the Colvin Kleios I bought in Beijing!

  17. STARR says:

Hey! They spelled “collection” correctly! What are the chances of that?
